SVBIC Holds Meeting about Community College
Several interested citizens attended a meeting on January 30th at the Sac Center and expressed their concern about educational opportunities and work force develoment in the county. They feel that an educated work force and educational opportunities in the community will provide for manufacturing opportunities with a educated work force.
The concerned citizens were unaware of the extent of the Lemhi Education Project. And after the meeting felt like their concerns were addressed.
The Lemhi Education Project is currently being run at the Salmon Valley Business and Innovation Center with Lemhi Economic Development. Through efforts of an active team of local citizens, the Lemhi Education Project partnered with North Idaho College and is now offering college courses in Lemhi County.
