Connie Mae Seymour

IN LOVING MEMORY OF CONNIE MAE SEYMOUR

Connie Mae Seymour was born August 21, 1965 in Missoula, Montana and passed away  at the age of 46 in Salmon, Idaho on February 10, 2012.  She is survived by her husband, Michael Roy Seymour of Oregon, daughter Nicole Michael Seymour, Salmon, Idaho, son Dustin Andrews, Williston, North Dakota, sisters Charlotte Siebold and Jackie Hager, step father Keith James, grandsons Ayden, Isaac and Ian Andrews, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother, father and brother.

Connie considered her children her greatest joy.  She was very proud of them.  She loved her sisters deeply and she considered her step-father, Keith, her REAL father.

Connie loved rock collecting, jewelry and antiquing.  She was a wonderful cook.  She loved parks and picnics with her family.  She loved going to the lake, swimming and just spending time with family.

Connie was Mike’s one and only “love of his life”, his best friend, his lover, his wife.  He remembers her greatest joy as the day her daughter Nicole Michael was born.  Connie felt she was given a second chance to be the mother she could be proud of.

Nicole remembers how much fun she and her mom had shopping at malls and watching movies together.  Her moms favorite movies were Grease and The Titanic.  Nicole loved her mom’s spaghetti, a recipe passed on from Connie’s mom.  Connie and Nicole loved dogs and cats and when they lived in Oregon they fed all the stray cats in their neighborhood.  Nicole remembered a trip she, her parents and half brother Zack took.  They were going to feed ducks.  The trip was on windy roads and she got sick and threw up all over her brother.  Her parents stopped the car to clean him up and they made it to their destination.  Once there, a goose started chasing Nicole and she ran screaming to her parents for help.  Nicole remembers all the fun they had in Oregon on the Fourth of July with fireworks.  She remembers them picking blueberries in their yard.  She remembers her mom crying when Nicole shot her first deer, not because she was happy or sad, but because Nicole was curious how a dead deer’s tongue might feel.  Connie was a little grossed out.

Connie was happiest when she was around her kids.  Nicole became her best friend.  Connie often spoke of what a great young man he son Dustin grew up to be.  Connie was proud of her children.  She loved them dearly.

Connie will be missed by all her family and her many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 20th,  2012 at the Assembly of God Church with Pastor Bruce Murphy officiating.  Memories and condolences may be shared with her family at that time.
