LemhiWeb features local news from Lemhi County, Idaho. We also post state and national news, from offsite sources, that are of interest to us locally.  Stories are also sorted into the various categories accessed by the top menu.Use the search function to find past articles.

If you have an idea for an article, would like to add to the information pages, or as a member of an organization that would like to post your events and articles, please contact us. Be aware, we will try to recruit you to be a citizen reporter! That means we can give you a login name and help you set up a password so you can enter those events and articles without emailing us, set the publishing dates you want, and give credit to a person on organization.

We are a privately owned business with a goal of increasing communication in Lemhi County. We will endeavor to provide this service at the least cost possible and with the greatest citizen participation that we can manage.

Let us introduce ourselves to you:

Barbara Miller is a retired math teacher who has lived in the county for 15 years with her husband Jerry. Barbara has been an active volunteer in many local endeavors and strongly feels that we need more input from citizens on issues that concern us all. She is the official owner of the website, but decisions are made by the three women on the governing committee with help from many other volunteers.

Reg Blauser is a retired microbiologist/science teacher who moved to Salmon with her husband, David, to be close to their daughter and her family. Reg serves on the Lemhi County Democratic Committee and is an active member of St. Charles Parish. She believes factual, accurate information is critical to good decision-making and sees this website as a way to provide the people of Lemhi County with information that will help them make decisions in their own best interest.

This is a website that encourages you to write articles and comment on issues. Use the inexpensive ways to advertise your businesses or have a mini webpage for your church or organization.

The more you are involved, the better it will be.
